I'm going to go take a look at it again today with my mechanic. See if he notices anything body wise or what have you. Engine doesn't really matter since its coming out and I'm putting in the TT thats in my coupe now anyway. But, maybe he can see something I don't. Honestly, when I saw the car, it looked great. Other than the sides skirts, they were those "Invader" skirts and rear, probably bought off eBay. One side is a little cracked, but not really a big deal . The top closed and opened, just didnt work "like new." From what he said, he got it from a dealer, that bought it an an auction. He paid $7K 3-4 years ago, dont remember what he said. Now he has twins, and needs to get rid of it. Said it was a rebuilt title like Schmeal said, due to the broken piece. He said he checked with Nissan and each arm/rod/thing was $150 (X2), so that's not bad, its just finding a mechanic or convertible person that can fix it. My main concern was the enjoyment value of the Vert vs. T-Top Z. I love my Z's, and am dying for a Vert Z. I am going to comb through this car a bit more but if its just that one piece that's a little messed up on the top then that's no sweat, I'll figure something out. And, like I said, it does open and close, it just wasnt like butter, it was more like....chunky peanut butter. Not that smooth, but still tasty! haha.
